Last page.  The mill head can be raised or lowered fully in 32 seconds!  To me that is just awesome.  I just have to take precautions to unlock the lock down and watch how far I raise and lower.  As I get some other things done, I may add limit switches just to be safe.

The stuff you see on the mill table is a pad of paper and some aluminum blocks for weight.  Couple of nights ago, I did my first cnc programming and drawing.  I chucked up a ball point pen in the mill head/drill chuck and proceeded to draw.  I was brain fried at the end of the night, but I got the machine to do something.  Next, a block of wood!

I have plenty of things to do yet to really ready this machine, but sometimes you just get side tracked on other projects.  I think this one was well worth it.
