The original cover painted black.  I will need to make up a cover for this side just to insure chips don't get in there.  I used a "momentary on/off/momentary on" toggle switch that I purchased from Graingers for $7.57.  This is the only real dollars I have invested so far, maybe the gas to go get the unit and switch.
